Profile of Wee Kong Eng

Our firm is led by Wee Kong Eng who has more than 27 years of experience as an Accountant.

Wee Kong Eng graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore in 1993 with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree after which he joined an international accounting firm as an auditor. During the time he was there, he participated in audits of numerous companies operating in a wide range of industries including listed companies.

In 1996, Kong Eng became a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”, now known as Chartered Accountant or “CA”) and is registered as a Public Accountant with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) since 2005. He is also recognised as an Accredited Tax Practitioner (ATP, Income Tax and GST) by Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP) and is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) registered with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Kong Eng attained a Master of Taxation degree in 2017 from Singapore University of Social Sciences. He completed the Chartered Valuer and Appraisal (CVA) program jointly conducted by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Institute of Valuers and Appraisers, Singapore (IVAS) in 2020 and was conferred the designation of Associate CVA in March 2022. He also holds a Diploma in Law awarded by the University of London (UOL) in 2006.

Kong Eng has been appointed by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) to serve on the Hot Review and Peer Review panels since 1 January 2012. Under this program, he has been engaged as Hot Review Partner by fellow Public Accountants to assist in improving and enhancing the quality of their audits.

Kong Eng participated in a panel discussion at the 2012 ICPAS SME-SMP forum. He was also appointed by ISCA as a Technical Clinic Facilitator from 2012 to 2016 to facilitate workshops on specific auditing issues for fellow Public Accountants.
